Dallas based recording artist and entertainer Cedric B is best known for his strong songwriting and production. His music is described as Soul fused with Rap and has a relatable commercial sound that is also refreshingly unique. His influences in music came at an early age, watching groups and singers on television. The way the music made him feel created a strong passion and desire to create music that moved others.
His music draws from old and new school artists such as Michael Jackson, Chris Brown, Jodeci, Usher and many more influences. Cedric B is also a certified audio engineer who has produced a multitude of independent artists and has assisted on major sessions such as Bryan McKnight, Kenny G, Hiroshima, Snoop Dogg, T.I., Yung LA, CBS Radio, John Tesh Radio and many more.
Cedric’s work on his M.O.R.E. album (Man of Realist Expectations), as well as production of an up and coming performing artist found him performing on the Main stage of The House of Blues Hollywood as well as The House of Blues Deep Ellum and many festivals in front of hundreds.
Cedric B is currently promoting his fresh new cd “LOVE=DRUG”. This is Cedric B’s 6th independent R&B release, including popular releases such as “Love Affair” and “Your Favorite mp3”. He also releases Rap and Smooth Jazz music and has a combined total of 10 indie releases.
Cedric B has overcome many struggles and stumbling blocks to be where he is today. From a tornado destroying his entire recording studio with him in it, and almost dying, to not getting much support from his family, to the huge amount of competition in the industry, he has had to overcome many obstacles. Today, he owns his own professional multimedia production company/Record Label that has been in business for over 10 years successfully.

HEARTBREAKER is a unique R&B album about a man who meets a woman that is out of his league and after going out on many dates and forming a relationship and finally making love, he becomes obsessed with her, but soon finds out that she is married to his boss. This release also features a short film written and directed by Cedric "Cnote" Buard by the same name.
